Butter

Butter
Hi, have you ever experienced this, whenever you need a bit of butter but you ended up taking longer time for the whole butter to soften at the room temperature then only you can cut?

Well just to share, i always make it a point to divide the whole butter when i reach home after buying from the market, there's when the butter is not to hard or nor to soft to cut. I will divide it to 4 and sometimes 5 equal portions. For example the whole bar of butter is 250g, i divide into 5 equal portions so that each potion is 50g, then i will take one of the portions and cut into another 5 smaller portions, so that each portion is 10g, as most of the time i use 50g to 60g of butter, and sometimes i only need 10g. After that i would use the aluminum foil to wrap each portion and label each as 50g or 10g, this way it saves me some time for waiting and i don't have to keep washing the knife each time i need the butter.
