Storing and Thawing Minced Meat

What do you do with your minced pork?
For me, each time after i have rinsed clean the minced meat, i will drain the meat dried. After that i will divide the meat into smaller portions according to the amount i need. For example, if buy a pack of 300g minced meat, and if each time i only need 150g, so i will put 150g of minced meat into each plastic bag, so will have two plastic bags. Then wrap it and put into zipper bag before keeping them in the freezer.

Keep it in a zipper bag
When i need the meat, i will just take the whole zipper bag out from the freezer and put it in a big bowl filled with water, leave it there to thaw at the room temperature for about 40mins to an hour. It depends how much is the amount of meat, more amount takes longer time to thaw.
