| A few long feathers still intact on skin |
One day, i went to Raffles Place. Feeling hungry, in order not to waste time any further getting out of the mrt station, i went another level up of the mrt station to look around. There are many small eateries at the Raffles Place mrt station.
I then settled down for a fast cooked food, i ordered a set of chicken curry rice, it came with an egg, veg and a chicken drum stick plus a drink, at quite a reasonable price tho!
I started eating fast because i was rushing of time........then something shocked me, i noticed there was this long feather looked alike on the other side of the chicken........so i pulled it.....the more i pulled the more feathers appeared! Gosh........i was shoked!!! Yuk!!
OMG!!! The length of that few feathers were as long as 6 inches, how come the cook didn't even notice it???
I almost screamed! Then..... i paused.....didn't know what to do! I told myself to quickly finish up my lunch then bring my plate with the few intact feathers on the skin to the stall and show it to them. So i took some pictures then continue eating. After finished my food, (except the feathers and the skin of cause!) my phone rang, so i turned my body to my side to pick up my phone from my bag and started answering. When i turned back, my plate was gone!! The cleaner has just collected my plate and before i could ask her to stop she already poured whatever left over on my plate into the dustbin! Oh no my evidence was gone!!! Luckily i took the pictures before i ate!
Then i thought i could just walk to the stall to make known to them about the feathers, but with no evidence will they believe me? Even if i showed them the pictures they can always said i took the pictures from somewhere else, so i gave up on showing to them.........
Since that day, i have not been eating any chicken for about 3 months, even after i started eating i always make it a habit to check the skin of the chicken first before putting into my mouth!
