Vitamins And Benefits Of Banana

              

Banana
As most people may know, banana gives you the energy, helps you in your constipation, and fills your stomach when you are hungry especially if you are on diet. But, how many of us really know the vitamins that contained in this yellow curvaceous fruit benefit us? 

Today, let me share with you about the benefits of banana. 

First of all, both ripe and unripe banana do benefit us, even the unripe banana too, helps in our cholesterol.   

Unripe Green Banana 
  • it reduces the bad cholesterol (LDL) 
  • it increases the production of good cholesterol (HDL)  
  • it can thicken the gastric mucosa, it used to treat duodenal ulcers and gastric ulcers

Banana is believed to be able to help in decreasing the risk of stroke, prevent ulcers, relieve heartburn, comfort gastric pain, lowering blood pressure with the potassium. And the amino acid tryptophan stimulates the production of serotonin, a neurotransmitter which has the calming effect on body. It also makes a speedy recovery from diarrhea. Each medium size of banana contains about 100 calories in the form of fruit sugar and starch. The browner the banana skin is, the higher the sugar content.
