Chinese ramen with Hoi Sin pork belly |
Serves : 1
Ingredients :
- white dried Chinese ramen , about 70g to 85g, enough for one person portion
- water enough to cook the ramen
- some xiao bai cai or baby chye sin veg
Sauce for the ramen :
- 1/2 tbsp of Wop Hup Oyster Sauce
- 1 tbsp of Lee Kum Kee Premium Light Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tbsp of garlic oil ( fried garlic with oil )
- 1/2 tsp of Lee Kum Kee Hoi Sin Sauce
- 1/4 tsp of chili paste ( optional )

* If you haven't roasted the pork belly yet, please put it into the oven now. ( click here for instructions on how to prepare the pork belly ).
- boil the water, blanch the veg in the boiling water then dip the veg in a bowl of water so that the color of the veg stays fresh.
- add the ramen into the boiling water.
Sauce for the ramen |
- while waiting for the ramen to be cooked, prepare the sauce in a bowl which will be used to serve, in a clean bowl, add all the ingredients for the sauce, stir.
- when the ramen is cooked, drain away the water, add the ramen into the bowl with sauce.
- stir until all the ramen are coated with the gravy.
- add the blanched veg and slice Hoi Sin Pork Belly ( click for recipe! )
- stir the ramen before eating
